On September 11, a thought-provoking panel discussion titled “Debating a New Phoenix: The Global South and a Renewed World Order” took place as part of the “Yerevan Dialogue” international conference with the participation of Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan. The discussion was focused on the transformative rise of emerging nations and their impact on global power dynamics. The session addressed critical questions surrounding the future role of the Global South in shaping a renewed world order.
The panel highlighted the complexity of uniting diverse countries with varying political, cultural, and economic backgrounds under the banner of the Global South. However, there was a shared sentiment that despite these differences, developing nations have the potential to reshape the future global order through collective action.
