As part of Yerevan Dialogue 2026, a closed-door discussion on “The Right to Reliable Information in the Period of Elections” was held in partnership with the Forum on Information and Democracy.
The session brought together high-level officials, ambassadors, and experts, including Davit Karapetyan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, to exchange views on safeguarding access to reliable information during electoral periods. Discussions addressed the challenges of misinformation and disinformation, highlighting the importance of transparency, institutional resilience, and international cooperation in protecting democratic processes.
